The annual Magic Moments albums, curated by ACT founder Siggi Loch, are among the most popular compilations in European jazz. The current, 17th edition demonstrates the unifying power of the jazz idea in a particularly impressive way: 18 pieces by four generations of musicians with strong influences from classical, pop and world music form an astonishingly well-rounded whole. The line-up features jazz greats such as Joachim Kühn, Bill Laurance, Wolfgang Haffner, Nils Landgren, Iiro Rantala and Viktoria Tolstoy as well as up-and-coming stars such as Jakob Manz, Little North, Daniel García, Florian Willeitner and Mikael Máni and many more.
